Dwarf Fortress

Dwarf Fortress is an Antarctic refugee base, sponsored by the Zone Fighters. It currently serves as permanent housing for non-Magatama humans, as well as housing agricultural and scientific facilities. It is located on Vinson Massiff, the plateau of Mount Vinson, the highest peak of Antarctica.

History

Early arrivals, of refugees, to Mount Vinson

Created under the supervision of Alexander Armstrong Nova and Ajax, Dwarf Fortress was envisioned as a refugee base for humans, unable to survive the radiation of Latitude Zero. Since then, facilities have been expanded, and defenses added, making the base into a formidable military and technological presence, on the surface.

Future Plans

Dwarf Fortress is currently slated to serve primarily as an agricultural facility, intending to grow and ship produce to Latitude Zero, in excess of the base's own consumption. Scientific facilities are currently being added, to bolster the base's development.

Secondary applications are currently planned, for the base to act an early-warning and point defense station, for Gigantis.
