From Zone Fighters Campaign Wiki
New York was the location where the Zone Fighters were first awakened in the inaugural episode, in a Bio-Major Facility.
Later, Zone Fighters member James Adams, was also recovered, while wandering the desolate wasteland, in episode 7.
History
Previously being a thriving, metropolitan capital of the modern world, New York City was reduced to a barren hellscape, after the events of Operation: Final War.
